Penelope Bryte is a main character since the third season of Survivor. She first appears on Episode 3.1: Hope Among The Dead, and is portrayed by Jessica Biel.
Background[]
Penelope was a nurse before the apocolypse, She has a twin brother named Ian Kost, she is married to Theodore Bryte and has a 7 year old daughter named Penny. When the apocolypse hit she was in the hospital, she could do nothing but hide until she find that her brother Ian, Theodore, and Penny have come. They embrace and run to their houses to get supplies, then they hit the road. Penny is crying all the way and Penelope attemptes to calm her down. Just when it seems things can't get any worse, walkers attack the small camp they had set up. Theodore is surrounded and eaten. Penny crys and tries to run toward her father but Ian stops her. As the three of them are running a walker pulls Penelope down, much to her surprise Ian sacrafices himself and jumps in the herd saving her, she looks back and all she can hear him say is goodbye. Penelope and Penny survive for many months and along the way Penelope finds out that she is pregnant.

Penelope is very kind, she loves to help others which is why she became a nurse, however she is able to hold her own.
